You Can't Pass This Up!

Megan and I have come across what we feel is a business opportunity that can not be passed up! It is called IBS Elite and it's a brand new company that you probably have never heard of. They are not even starting up officially until the middle of January. Just to give you an idea of what it is, you know how banks make billions if not trillions of dollars a year off of credit card transactions? Well this company came up with a way to give you back a portion of that transaction, and a portion of all others that end up signing up underneath you! The idea is brilliant and you would be getting in just at the right time, considering the fact that it has not even begun yet. Megan and I have already talked to a few of our friends and they absolutely love it and so do we. If you want to really know what it is, just go to www.ibselite.com and there you can watch a video and get all sorts of other information about it. And if you really like it let us know, and if you have any questions just ask us, my brothers father in-law is in direct contact with the owner and has already answered many of our questions. And I have never been interested in these types of things before until now, it just seems like to good of a thing to not try for at least a little while.

Ok, I did some math. Let's say on average that you and the 10 generations under you spend $1500 per month. A 0.10% commission on that amount is $1.50 x 10 people = $15 per month x 12 months is a total of $180. If I understood the website correctly it will cost you $198 to be a member and affiliate for the whole year. You don't even break even.

Spending $1500 each month means you have an income of greater than that. And probably greater than $2000 a month b/c generally you can't pay rent with a bank card. Maybe you have more affluent friends but when I was attending school in Provo I didn't know anyone bringing that kind of money.

I don't want to spoil your fun but I felt like since I'm your cousin and I've been through a finance degree where we ripped apart scheme's like this that maybe I should tell you to get out while you're ahead. You'd be better off putting your $200 in the downed stock market and waiting for it to pull up.

Jeffrey and I use EmigrantDirect as a savings account and credit card. If you keep a certain minimum amount in the account you get 1.4% cash back on the purchases you make with the credit card. We get about $200 per year with that feature and we didn't have to spend extra money to enroll. Plus we're getting 3% (used to be 5%) on our savings account so if you add it all together we're making 4.4% for the year. And this plan encourages saving instead of spending in a time when people are getting more and more afraid of spending extra money because they don't know if they will have a job next month.

Anyway, I hope for your sake that I'm wrong and things work out for you with this plan. Maybe I misunderstood how it all works. And if you do get really rich, remember, I'm your favorite cousin you went to Italy with :)

Melissa- thanks for your comment! however, your math was not quite right. That would only be the case if you only found one person who found one person who found one person- but ideally (yes, not for sure, but ideally), everyone would get three people. So IF you were to get to the tenth level, and every single person spent $1500 (again, that would be a long shot, but still), that is over 59,000 people. If you do the math with that, then you make a lot more than $180. And there is also a way you can make money off more than 10 generations. If that were the case, then getting in at the beginning could mean a lot more than that. We aren't quitting our jobs or anything, but we thought that the $200 risk would be worth it, considering we only have to have about 12 people under us spending $1500 each month to break even.

If you have any other questions let us know. In fact, we would welcome them from you because of your expertise! If you see any other major issues we want to know so we can get out while we can. Otherwise, we think it just might be worth the risk!
